President Abdul Hamid on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Jessore District Freedom Fighters’ Complex. After the inauguration of the complex, the President exchanged pleasantries with local freedom fighters.
Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haq, local MP Advocate Monirul Islam and senior government officials were present on the occasion.
The Ministry of Public Works constructed the two-storey complex spending Tk 1.42 crore.
Earlier, President Abdul Hamid arrived here to attend the Signal Corps Commanding Officers’ Conference and Re-union 2014 to be held today.
