President M Abdul Hamid reached Tarail, Kishoreganj on Wednes afternoon on a week-long tour.
During the visit from October 9 to 15, the President will attend several programmes at Tarail, Kishoreganj, Mithamain, Itna and Austagram upazilas of the district.
This is the third visit of Abdul Hamid to his native district after he took charge as the country’s President for the second consecutive term on April 24, 2018.
President Hamid arrived here by a helicopter that landed at Shimulhati Helipad Ground of Tarail upazila around 2:30 pm.
Upon his arrival, local political leaders and senior officials of the district administration received him with bouquets.
Local political leaders, senior civil and military officials and secretaries concerned to Bangabhaban are accompanying the President during the visit.
