President Abdul Hamid on Monday attended an iftar party hosted by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha on the Supreme Court premises.
The President went round different tables set for the guests and exchanged pleasantries with them.
Before the iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking divine blessings for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the nation. Khatib of the Supreme Court Jam-e Mosque conducted the munajat.
Cabinet members, former Chief Justices, judges of the Supreme Court,
attorney general, senior lawyers, senior civil and military high officials concerned, among others, joined the iftar party.
Earlier, on his arrival at the iftar venue, the President was received by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha and Law Minister Anisul Huq.
