A joint preparatory meeting to observe the 43rd National Cooperative Day was held at Divisional Cooperative office in Chittagong on Thursday.
The NCD is scheduled to be held today(Saturday) across the country as elsewhere in Chittagong. Divisional and District cooperative office jointly arranged the meeting with Joint controller Md. Jahangir Alam in the chair aimed at making success of the NCD. The convenors of the different sub-committees on NCD presented their programmes on this day presented before the meeting. Among others, District cooperative officer Mahbubur Rahman Bhuyia, President of Chittagong Central Cooperative Bank Nurul Anwar Chowdhry, Deputy controller Mizanur Rahman, Dy controller Abdus Salam, Asstt. Controller Bahalul Ahmed Chowdhury, Asstt. Kaniz Fatema, and the thana cooperative officers spoke on the occasion, sources said.
