Team BJMC completed their first phase engagements of the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League (2014-15) on winning note after beating Feni Soccer Club by 1-0 goal at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Sunday.
Bijon scored the match-winning goal for team BJMC in the 79th minute.
With the day’s feat, Team BJMC advanced to the 8th slot in the eleven-team fray with eighty points from 10 matches by virtue of better goal difference while Feni Soccer Club went down to the 9th position with same points from same matches due to poor goal difference.
On completion of the ten first phase matches, defending champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club top the list securing 23 points, followed by Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Brothers Union Club and Sheikh Russel KC, all securing 20 points each.
