The Premier Division Chess League will begin on Sunday (December 6) at the at the Auditorium Lounge of National Sports Council Tower in the city.
The event will be held in a single round-robin league system.
The participating teams are reigning champions Bangladesh Navy Chess team, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Titas Club (Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Co. Ltd.), Bangladesh Navy Junior Chess team, Pritam-Prism Chess Club Narayanganj, Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club, Leonine Chess Club, Sultana Kamal Smirity Pathagar, Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club and Golden Sporting Club.
Sheikh Russel Memorial Sporting Club took proprietary rights from Sreejan Chess Club.
Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club and Golden Sporting Club promoted from the 1st Division Chess League in 2014.
Every team will be composed by 6 players where 4 regulars and 2 reserves.
All teams are requested to submit their team players list on or before Saturday (December 5) at 5:30 pm before the number draw at 6 pm at Chess Federation office room.
