A pregnant housewife was allegedly strangled to death by her husband and in- laws in Phulpur Upazila in Mymensingh recently.
The victim was identified as Rupali Akter, 24.
Victim’s father Morshed Ali filed a case in Dhobaura thana. Source informed that Rupali got married with Jabed Ali of Sanondokhila village five years ago.
After the marriage Morshed gave huge amount of money to Jabed and his family members. Recently, they demanded Tk 4 lakh from Rupaly’s family. But as they denied to pay the money Jabed with her family members killed Rupali early in the morning.
