Chittagong Metropolitan Police in separate raids detained 45 persons after raiding Darul Ulum Alia Madrasa and Agrabad Deverpar area for hurling bombs on police and Power Development Board (PDB) office Saturday evening. Police said some blockaders hurled petrol bombs on patrol police in front of Safa Arcade Community centre at 2 pm on saturday .After the incident a contingent of Kotwali thana police raided Darul Ulum Alia Madrasa and detained its 35 students and later lodged two separate cases before the Kotwali and chowkbazar thana accussing 32 shibirmen.
