Prantik Krira Chakra recorded an emphatic six-wicket victory over Young Cricketers in the Dhaka Second Division Cricket League held on Wednesday at BKSP ground no 4 in Savar. Sent to bat first by Prantik KC, Young Cricketers were cheaply dismissed at 121 in 46 overs. Jasim top scored with unbeaten 38 runs. Salahuddin Ahmed claimed three wickets for 22 runs.
He was well supported by Rakibul Atik and Imtiaz Hossain who both picked up two wickets each. Chasing a winning target of 122 runs, Prantik KC hardly had to sweat as they comfortably reached home making 124 runs in 34 overs for the loss of four wickets. Shahadat contributed 37 runs while Hasibur Rahman added 33 for Prantik. Azmir and Atiqur shared one wicket apiece.
