Postmortem of Royal Bengal Tiger done

At last the postmortem examination of the dead body of a Royal Bengal Tiger recovered from Sharankhola forest range under the Eastern Division of Sundarbans was done on Tuesday noon.
In this connection a 3-men investigation committee was formed headed by Joynal Abedin, Ranger of Sharankhola forest range in order to ascertain the causes behind the death of the tiger. It may be mentioned here that on Monday noon a contingent of forest guards were discharging their normal patrol duties in the forest found the dead tiger on the bank of Kabarkhali canal within Kokilmoni area under Sharankhola forest range (of Sundarbans) and buried the same in Kokilmoni area. On Tuesday the dead body of the tiger was exhumed from the ground and its autopsy was done on the same day at noon.
