Chittagong Port Employees Parishad(CBA) violates the rules of the labour laws as the CBA did not hold the CBA election after expiry of terms of Executive committee. Following a complaint by the CBA members, Chittagong Labour Directorate office ordered CBA officials to hold the election by next 45 days. Labour office in a letter to the General secretary of CBA to hold the election by this specific time. Jatiya Sramik League, Bandar unit President and port CBA vice president Mohammad Ali served legal noltice to the Labour court by the counsel of the petitioner Advocate Sukumoy Chakraborty, sources said.
