Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has said that action will be taken if specific allegation is received against actress Pori Moni.
DB Additional Commissioner AKM Hafiz Akter said this in response to a question from reporters at a press conference at DMP Media Center on Thursday.
He said, “The incident of Community Club is occured in the area of our Gulshan team. We will definitely discuss the matter. If any kind of complaint is received in this regard, action must be taken.”
Hafiz Akter said, “We have learned that Por Moni went to the club at night on June 8. Police was informed about the incident after receiving phone call from 999. However, no specific allegations were later found. We will work on it if we receive a complaint.”
Asked if Pori Moni would be interrogated about Boat Club incident, he said a case has been registered in Dhaka district. “As the cases are ongoing, Pori Moni must come under interrogation if necessary. After questioning, the issues can be discussed at the end of the investigation.”
