National Film Award winner actress Poppy along with her family went to her birthplace Shibbari Zamindar House in Khulna on Friday. Every year she tries to go there with her family one or two times. She passes few days there by own way and then returns to Dhaka. This time she will pass time by own way and her friends there. Poppy informed that due to Coronavirus, shooting of Poppy’s outdoor schedule cannot be rescheduled. For this reason, she is now in relaxing mood. She is also feared about spreading of Coronavirus.
Poppy also said that she gets many offers for new movies but cannot agree to work. She thinks there is no variation in the stories of present time’s films. “In fact, there are many stories now but I cannot get any variation. Somebody tries to be present with exceptional story based film. That may be based on my own lifestyle. When I go to Khulna I meet with my childhood friends Shimu and Shewly though Shimu is staying in Dhaka now. Both of them are very intimate friends. They are also siblings. There are two other friends of mine named Moni and Maya. When they come to Dhaka I meet them. Stories of my friends can be stories of films. We five friends are very close to each other. We can share everything. I strongly believe next time story-writers can get their stories from us while writing story for the film.”
Poppy also informed that she has finished shooting of Sadeque Siddiqui’s film Sahoshi Joddha but shooting of Arif-directed film Kathgorai Sarat Chandra is stalled now.
