On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr Kaisar Ahmed is making a special play titled Mental to telecast on Rtv.
Scripted by Apon Ahsan Poppy for the fourth time is working with Hasan Jahangir by this play. Shooting of the play began in the city’s New Eskaton area’s Priyanka Shooting House on Tuesday.
Hasan Jahangir is acting in the title role in the play against Poppy. Hasan Jahangir’s role is Sattar in the play.
While talking about the play Poppy told this correspondent, “Only for the Eid I work in special plays. I have liked the story-telling of Mental and I have also liked my role so I have agreed to work in this play. Earlier I worked with Hasan Jahangir for three times. It is our fourth work. Under Kaisar Bhai’s direction I worked three years ago. Overall the unit is known to me. So, I am working cordially. I believe viewers will enjoy the work.”
Hasan Jahangir shared his feelings by this way, “I am going to present a gift for the viewers as my work with Poppy on the occasion of coming Eid. Most of the time viewers get something in my work. This play is also like this. Poppy is the winner of National Film Award. I always feel comfortable to work with her. We earlier worked together on the screen so we have a better understanding in this regard. I hope at last it will be a nice work.”
Director Kaisar informed that viewers will watch something new type of romantic flavor in the acting of Poppy and Hasan Jahangir. They will enjoy a lot to watch this. Ehsanul Haque Minu, Zilllur Rahman, Faruk Ahmed, Homayra Himu, among others, are also acting in other roles in the play.
It is noted that recently Poppy win the election of Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association in the post of its EC Member. She got the National Film Award for acting in Kalam Kaisar’s Karagar, Nargis Akter’s Megh-er Koley Rode and Syed Wahiduzzaman Diamond’s Gangajal. Her acted last released movie was Nargis Akter’s Poush Mash-er Piritee.
