DMP’s Additional Commissioner (Crime and Operation) Krishna Pada Roy told the reporter on Sunday in Shantinagar Traffic Box area in mask distribution ceremony that there is no alternative to the mask to get rid of the coronavirus.
“We will raise awareness and encourage people to wear masks, not enforce the law. We hope, everyone will understand the risks, danger and become self-aware and follow the hygiene rules,” he added.

So far, about 20,000 members of the police have been affected by covid-19 and 86 people died. In the second phase of corona, police members are also creating awareness about wearing masks and using hand sanitizers.
