Police recovered two bodies from Dhaka’s Khilgaon and Bosila areas on Tuesday morning.
Both victims were killed and remained unidentified at the time of filing this report around 6:00pm.
Khilgaon police recovered the body of a young man (around 25 year old) from behind a house at Nandipara area around 10:30am. The victim was wearing black pants, said Khilgaon Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Farukul Alam.
Police suspect that he was killed somewhere else and the body was dumped
there. The corpse was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
In Bosila, body of a man (around 45 year old) was recovered from the ground floor of a building around 11:30am. His legs were tied to the bed and a pillow was on his face, said Sajidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Hazaribagh Police Station.
The room was locked from outside and locals informed police after they saw the body lying on the bed through window. Police are suspecting that he was strangled, the OC said, adding there was a cut mark in his neck.
Quoting neighbours, the OC said the man along with a woman rented the flat a month ago, introducing themselves as a couple. A young boy was with them. The woman and the boy remain missing, police said.
