Police officer beaten, case filed against more than 150 people in Narayanganj

A case has been registered with the Siddhirganj Police Station against 125 unidentified persons in connection with the beating of a police Sub-Inspector at Siddhirganj Adamji Shahi Jame Mosque in Narayanganj.
Siddhirganj Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mirza Shahidul Islam filed the case on Saturday (June 11) night.
Earlier on Friday afternoon, Siddhirganj Police Station SI Syed Azizul Haque was beaten by the worshipers.
According to the case file, Siddhirganj Police Station SI, victim Syed Azizul Haque spoke at the Adamji Shahi Jame Mosque after the Friday prayers. In his speech, he said, “The issue of India should not affect our country and there should be no chaos.”
Siddhirganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Hafizur Rahman Manik said a case has been registered in this regard.
Attempts are being made to arrest those involved in the incident. However, no arrests have been made so far.
