Police FC force Sheikh Jamal to a 3-3 draw

It was a superb display by Bangladesh Police Football Club as they came from behind forced powerhouse Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club to play a 3-3 goal draw in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football held on Monday at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Despite taking lead twice in the proceeding, Sheikh Jamal could not utilize the opportunity as Police Football Club were comparatively played better football than Sheikh Jamal today and added at least one point in their tally.
In the day’s match, Kyrgyzstan midfielder Murolimzhon Akhmedov, Ivory Coast midfielder Frederic Pooda and striker
Mohammad Jewel scored one goal each for Police while Gambian forward Pa Omar Jobe, Uzbekistan striker Otabek Validjanov and Gambian forward Solomon King Kanform netted one goal apiece for Sheikh Jamal.
The match was locked by 2-2 goal draw at the breather.
Pa Omar Jobe opened an account scoring the first goal for Sheikh Jamal early in the 10th minute while Murolimzhon Akhmedov restored the parity for Bangladesh police FC in the 33rd minute of the match.
Otabek Validjanov however put Sheikh Jamal ahead scoring the second goal in the 40th minute but the lead lasted for few minutes when Frederic Pooda leveled the margin scoring the second goal for Police FC in the 45+1st minute of the match.
After the resumption, Solomon King Kanform again gave a lead TO Sheikh Jamal scoring the third goal in the 49th minute but it was Mohammad Jewel who neutralized the margin scoring the third goal for Police Football Club in the 69th minute of the match.
After that, both the teams launched several attacks but failed to take lead lacks of proper finishing. With the day’s outcome, Sheikh Jamal secured 19 points from nine matches while Bangladesh Police Football Club bagged nine points also from the same number of matches.
