Ziaur Rahman made a hat-trick scoring three goals while Mahfuzur Rahman and Sohel Rana contributed five goals each, Rashedul Haque made three and Rana scored two goals for the policemen.
Bangladesh Krira Shikka Protishtan (BKSP) piled up another convincing 13-0 goals win over Natore District in the day’s other fixture at the same venue.
Shohanur Rahman, Sarwar Morshed, Arshad Hossain and Mohsin scored two goals each while Sajib Hossain, Raju Ahmed, Khalilur Rahman, Rajib Das and Nasir Hossain scored one each for Bangladesh Sports Training Institute team.
In the day’s another match, Comilla District outplayed Shariatpur District by 14-1 goals at the same venue.
Asiful Haque made a double hat-trick with six goals, Javed Hossain scored three, Shaheduzzaman and Rokonuzzaman two goals each while Tofail netted the remaining goal for Comilla.
Lemon Hossain scored the lone goal for Shariatpur.
In the day’s other match, Joypurhat District beat all-losers Chittagong Division by 5-0 goals at the same venue.
