Staff Reporter: Suspecting to be a militant den, police have cordoned off a house in Ashulia’s Gokulnagar Bazar area of Savar.
Ashulia police OC Sheikh Rezaul Haque Bipu confirmed it to journalists.
He said the two-storey building was cordoned off on Monday evening.
Additional police have been deployed in the area.
High police officials including Dhaka range additional DIG and district police superintendent are present on the spot.
One person was detained from there.
The house owner Akhter Hossain is an expatriate. The house were given rent recently.
Police suspected that there may be huge amount of ammunition are stored in the house with some militants also may staying there.
