Police AC blanked Shantinagar SC by 7-0 goals in the opening match of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Rana Das of Police AC scored four goals and his teammate Nayan Kumar Dey netted two goals and their colleague Anisuzzaman scored one goal.
Earlier, Director (Public Relation) of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited Md Mahfuzur Rahman Siddique inaugurated the hockey meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) Khaja Rahmatullah and Secretary of the League Committee Kamrul Islam Kismat were present at the time.
