News Desk : Poet and journalist Fazal Shahbuddin (78) passed away at 11:00 am today at his own residence in Bashabo. The veteran poet was suffering from prolonged old-age related illnesses. The poet was born on February 4, 1936. He began his career as a journalist. His poems have been translated into several foreign languages. Some of his masterpieces are: Trishnar Agnite Eka (1965), Atotayi Shurjasto (1975), Ontorikhye Oronya (1980) and Shannidhyer Artonad (1983).
