Folk Poet Abdul Hai Mashreki Research Centre arranges a two-day programme to mark the 98th birth anniversary of the poet on April 22 and 23.
Convener of the birth anniversary celebration committee Dr SM Afsaruzzaman informed that the two-day programme will be inaugurated by State Minister for Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Ministry Tarana Halim MP as the chief guest today at Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 5:00pm. Lifetime achievement award will be given on the occasion.
On the concluding day, State Minister for Finance and Planning Ministry MA Mannan MP will be present as the chief guest.
