Suhrawardy Udyan today to celebrate the party’s landslide victory in the 11th general election, held on December 30 last year.
Hasina, also president of the AL, will also reveal her government’s future development plan at the rally, he said.
The existence of the Jatiya Oikyafront will no longer sustain due to the diverse political ideology and principle of the alliance partners, Quader said.
“Since inception of the Oikyafront, it seems to me that the alliance would not be sustainable,” he said adding that a rift has already appeared in BNP, while Oikyafront is on the verge of the same consequence.
“The unity between a communal and non-communal force would never be sustainable,” he said.
The Oikyafront yesterday held its steering committee meeting at its key leader Dr Kamal Hossain’s Motijheel chamber with absence of BNP representatives.
BNP standing committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy were supposed to attend the meeting, but they were absent.
