Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday released a special commemorative postage stamp, an opening day cover and a data card on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the state-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The premier unveiled the commemorative postage stamp of Taka 10, the opening day cover of Taka 10 and the data card of Taka 5 at a ceremony at her official residence Ganabhaban on Wednesday morning.
A special canceller was used on the occasion.
The prime minister also received a souvenir of Biman on its Golden Jubilee at the function, reports BSS. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md. Mahbub Ali, among others, were present.
