Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Walton stall at the first National Industrial Fair-2019. She expressed her satisfaction observing the world-class electronics, electrical and technology products of the local brand. The premier also praised Walton for its initiatives to manufacture the hi-tech products in the country and exporting them after meeting local demands.
The inaugural National Industrial Fair began Sunday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in city. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Sunday morning, inaugurated the fair and then visited various stalls.
PM’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, State Minister Kamal Ahmed Majumder, Secretary Md. Abdul Halim and president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin were among others present on the occasion.
The Prime Minister has beheld various ‘Made in Bangladesh’ products including international standard laptops, mobile phones, refrigerators, air conditioners, rice cookers etc. and praised Walton for producing them in the country. She became glad to know that ‘Made in Bangladesh’ labelled compressors are being exported.
