PM pays tribute to Abul Kashem

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid her last tributes to former lawmaker and devoted Awami League leader Abul Kashem Master after his namaj-e-Janaza at south plaza of the Sangsad Bhaban here on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina placed floral wreath on the coffin of the leader, two times parliament member from Chittagong-6 (Sitakunda).
She stood in solemn silence before the coffin for some times and paid homage to Abul Kashem. She also offered prayers seeking salvation of the departed soul.
Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, as the president of the Awami League, also paid floral wreath to the former lawmaker, who also served as the president of the party’s Sitakunda Upazila Unit and Vice-president of Chittagong North District Unit for long time.
She talked to the sons and other family members of Abul Kashem Master and consoled them.
Deputy Speaker Advocate Fazley Rabbi Mia, Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, chief whip of the Jatiya Sangsad ASM Firoz, state minister for land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed, chief whip of the Opposition Party Tajul Islam, whips of the parliament and central leaders of Awami League were present.
