Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter Maj Gen (rtd) Md Latiful Alam Chowdhury, husband of Prof. Dr Shireen Akhter, Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Chittagong University (CU).
In a message of condolence on Wednesday, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
