Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has donated Tk 3.71 crore to National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) for purchasing new equipments for giving better treatment to patients.
NICVD Director Professor Dr Mir Jamal Uddin has received the cheque from PM Office’s Senior Secretary Md Tofazzal Hossain Mia on Wednesday.
During the cheque handover programme cardiac surgeon and Associate Professor Dr Ashraful Alam Siam was present there.
After receiving the cheque, NICVD Director Professor Dr Mir Jamal Uddin thanked the PM and said this donation will help the poor people to receive cardiac related treatment from this institution.
