Deputy Office Secretary of Awami League and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Barrister Biplob Barua said the programmes of welfare for the people of all strata included in the plannings of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said freedom of mass media is existed in the country and media contributing a lot to change the fate of the nation.
Among others, Deputy Press Secretary of Prime Minister Ashraful Alam Khokan, President of Chattogram Union of Journalist Nazimuddin Shamol, Cice President of BFUJ Reaz Haider Chowdhury, General Secretary of Chattogram Press Club Chowdhury Farid, former PC Secretary Suklal Das, and President of Seniors Club Dr. Selim Akhter chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Barrister Biplob Barua said Chattogram is my Home city and infrastructulre development of the port city is contnuing. He also said Prime Minister formulated a number of develop[ment projects for chattogram like Karnaphuli tunel, Rail line upto gundum and marine drive road upto Airport .
Further, a mega project for elevating waterlogging in the city is undergoing under the supervision of the Bangladesh army, he added. He said PM has formulated a vision for the nation and we should firmly cooperate to the development activities of the Chattogram regions.
Biplob Barua called upon the journalists to depict the true picture of the development activities across the country before the people.
