PM arrives in Abu Dhabi from Germany

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday morning from Germany on an official visit to attend the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2019) to be held in Abu Dhabi later in the day.
The aircraft carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage landed at Abu
Dhabi International Airport at 6:36 am, local time, (BST 8:36 am). Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE Mohammad Imran received the Prime Minister at the airport. Sheikh Hasina left Munich International Airport for Abu Dhabi by a flight of Etihad Airlines on Saturday at 9:40pm, local time, (BST 2:40 am, Sunday).
Bangladesh Ambassador to Germany Imtiaz Ahmed saw her off at the airport.
During her stay in the UAE, two MoUs on investment are likely to be signed with the private office of Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum.
Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) will sign an MoU for undertaking projects on the development of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Terminal, Power Plant and any other project of mutual interest.
Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) will sign the second MoU for setting up a Special Economic Zone on 300 acres of land in Matarbari. Sheikh Hasina will attend the Opening Session of the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX-2019) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on Sunday.
