Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof Abdul Mannan said students must play a vital role in resolving different national crisis with their talent and merit.
He made the remarks on Thursday while addressing an orientation programme arranged for the first-year students under the academic session 2017-18 of Jahangirnagar
University (JU) held at Zahir Raihan auditorium on the campus. Prof Mannan said the government is creating opportunities for discovering and developing science and technology in different public universities aiming to build skilled manpower.
