A day-long Pitha Mela along with a cultural function was held at the main campus of Bangladesh Open University on Thursday organized by the university.
BOU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr M A Mannan inaugurated the Mela and said, pitha is our social and cultural heritage.
We must uphold our cultural values in our social life style, he added.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain, Treasurer Prof Dr Md. Abu Taher and teachers, officers, employees were present in the function.
