Our Correspondent :A daring theft took place at the Muktarpara road residence of ex MP and general secretary of Netrakona district Awami League Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru last late night. Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, also a valiant Freedom Fighter, told local newsmen at his residence here on Sunday that unknown criminals decamped with his licensed 22-bore automatic pistol, 21 rounds of ammunition, a mobile set, a watch and Taka 20,000 in cash from the bedrooms on the 2nd floor of the house. The offenders entered the rooms by cutting the grills of a window. On receiving the information, separate teams of police and police detective branch (DB) Netrakona rushed to the residence and started investigation to find out the clue of the incident.
