A physician couple has tested positive for coronavirus in Sylhet.
Of the couple, the male physician is posted at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Dhaka while his wife is a doctor of a private hospital in Sylhet.
Recently, the male physician returned from Dhaka, said Dr Himangshu Lal Roy, deputy director of Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital (SOMCH).
According to the Civil Surgeon office, 13 people were found infected with coronavirus in Sylhet division in tests conducted at the SOMCH on Monday.
Of them, the couple hails from the Sylhet while the rest from Sunamganj.
