The first ever production of modern “Reflective Glass Sheet” launched in Chattogram at PHP Float Glass Industries Limited using world famous ‘Spataring Coating Technology’ . Generally in modern world, glass sheet produced using this advanced technology. After use of this reflective glass in building, the beautification of the building enhances to maximum extents and looks brighter like mirror and moreover the weight of building comparatively lessened. It is learnt that basically this reflective glass is used in buildings to protect the mercury of heat and sun light with enough lighting and will decrease the sun radiation into the house.This new deviced glass controls heat and decrease the airconditioning expense for which it is means as power austerity. Mentionable that this reflective glass is used in those countries where the severity of sun rays is high and excessive heat during summer.
The mercury of heat is gradually increasing in Bangladesh due to climate change effects. At this moment , there are huge demand of reflective glass in the country, PHP Family sources said. The pioneer of the various modern industrial sector of different technologies of the country, recently Ekushey Padak awarded noted social personality, education admirer & industrialist Sufi Mizanur Rahman who is also the head of PHP Family . To bring reality of the dreams of Sufi Mizanur Rahman, his successor Managing Direcor of PHP Float Glass Industries Ltd Amir Hossain is leading the activities of the newly installed modern glass sheet factory. While contacted Md. Amir Hossain told the New Nation that the first ever float glass is produced at PHP Float Glass Factory at Chattogram in 2005 which lessened the imports to a greater extents.
PHP is producing global standard float glass since then. He said after 15 months relentless efforts of technicians, PHP Float glass industry successfully launched production of Reflective glass sheet of 10 variant colours. He also hopes to produce high technically enriched Coating Glass very shortly from float glass factory, a PHP sources said.
