A PhD seminar was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Wednesday.
English department of the university organized the seminar on “A Comparative Study between Tennessee Williams and Nathaniel Hawthorne: a psycho analytical approach” at the conference room of Humanities and Social Sciences faculty.
U.H Ruhina Jesmin, the PhD researcher, presented two articles on the seminar. Dr Salma Sultana, Professor of English department of the university, coordinated her research works as the supervisor.
Dean of Humanities and Social Science, Professor Dr M Habibur Rahman addressed as the chief guest while chairman of the English department Professor Dr AHM Aktarul Islam was in the chair.
English department Professor Dr M Mamunur Rahman delivered the key note speech on the seminar while Professor Dr Mia M Rashiduzzaman spoke as the discussant.
Assistant Professor of the department, Prodip Kumer Adhikari conducted the seminar.
