Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Everybody can recall the name of a wicked boy named Tareq, a character of Moshedul Islam’s movie Dipu Number 2, which was made under the story written by Muhammad Jafar Iqbal in 1996. That Tareq is now-a-days a director, Shuvashish Roy who has made a short film titled Katus Kutus to cast promising actress and popular model Peya Bipasha.Earlier Peya Bipasha worked in a commercial movie. But for the first time she acted in a short film. She performed in role of Shormi in the short film. Main story of Katus Kutus was written by Shuvashish Roy. Sushmin Afsana has written its script from the adaptation of Shuvashish’s written a story. Shuvashish’s own production house, Ekmatra Entertianers and Chairman of Hotel Lake Shore Shamsul Haque have jointly produced the film. While sharing her feelings to work in the film Peya Bipasha told this correspondent, “Story of Katus Kutus is absolutely different story. It was my first work with Shuvashishda. He has made this 70-minute short film very efficiently and carefully. I believe viewers will enjoy to watch the film.”Director Shuvashish Roy informed that from Pahela Baishakh Katus Kutus will be screened in different towns of different districts including auditoriums of different universities in the capital. The film is scheduled to be screened round the month Baishakh. It may be mentioned that Peya Bipasha contested in Lux-Channel i Superstar in 2012. Though she was in top 10 in the contest later she withdrew her name from the contest. Peya Bipasha’s acted only commercial movie is Rudro – The Gangster. Sayem Jafar Imami has made the film. In the TV arena, Peya first acted in Masud-ul-Hasan’s directed a play titled Dwitiyo Matra. Tahsan was her co-actor in the play. Peya’s acted first drama serial was Masud Hasan Ujjal’s Trade Fair, which was telecasted on Maasranga TV.On the other hand, Peya Bipasha is going to perform as a model for second time in a TV commercial. On March 30, she will perform as a model against singer Habib in a music video of the singer’s own song. Earlier she performed in a music video against Antu Karim under Shimul Hawlader’s direction, she said.Peya Bipasha informed that she will also perform in a new TV commercial (TVC) of a product of Tibet. If she gets visa she will work in the TVC. She last worked in Milon Bhatta’s play titled Durotto Bojai Rakhun.
