The miscreants belong to supporters of 20-party alliance called hartal hurled petrol bomb in the Chittagong city residence of the Secretary general of Jatiya Party Ziauddin Bablu on at about 10-30 pm Monday .
Following the hurling of petrol bomb, fire broke out in his bed room caused damaging the air conditioner of the rook, sources said.JP secretary Bablu resides in a 3-storied building of Chandgaon residential area in city . city JP secretary of Chittagong Yakub Hossain told that Ziauddin Bablu and his family members were not in the house on that time and only caretaker of the house was present .
Officer in-charge of Chandgaon thana Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to this correspondent . Police suspecting that miscreants hurled the bomb from very near adjoining buildings and investigating the matter quickly, sources said.
