Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif, MP, on Tuesday said people of the country have outrightly rejected the blockade program of BNP.
“Why BNP chief called the program and for whom? Leaders and activists of her party too remain absent from the street as the blockade program has no justification whatsoever,” he said.
Hanif came up with the observations while addressing a sit-in program in front of AL central office at capital’s Bangabandhu Avenue.
“BNP chief called the blockade program for her own good and to execute her plot. But her program proved futile as condition of the country is normal,” he said.
