People live in peace currently: Rawshan

Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Begum Rawshan Ershad on Wednesday said common people in the country are living peacefully currently.
“Common people in the country are living peacefully currently, but a few number of problems are seen, which would be addressed urgently,” she said this, before prorogation order of the President in the House.
Rawshan urged the government to take appropriate measures for resolving those problems specially banking, education, price- hike and employment sectors.
“Tremendous development is seen across the country under the present government with wholehearted support by the opposition party compared to any previous government,” she said.
Begum Ershad called upon the government to take necessary steps to keep market prices of the essentials stable along with avert question papers leakages.
The leader of the opposition informed the House that the present parliament played significant role for national development compared to any previous parliament.
She urged the government for taking steps to create employment opportunities for young generation because around five crore people are unemployment so the government has to create job facilities.
Mentioning a milestone step by the government for constructing the Padma Bridge over the mighty river Padma, she criticized for increasing project cost several times.
