A pedestrian was killed in a road accident at Dewanhat area on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sonjoy Saha, 35, son of Pran Saha, hailed from Bayazid.
ASI Alauddin Talukder from Chittagong Medical College Hospital confirmed the news.
He said a speedy tempo, local vehicle in the port city, hit him while he was crossing the road at around 9:30 am.
Seriously injured Sonjoy was rushed to CMCH where on duty doctors declared him dead.
