It is really incomprehensible to understand fighting between Hamas in Gaza Strip and Israel which has caused destruction of major areas in Gaza Strip, apart from killing of Palestine and Hamas plus Israelis too. There is no reason for Hamas, a faction of Palestine, which has had bitter experience in 2012 which did throw rockets against the state of Israel that has had modern weapons and well-equipped armed forces. It is regrettable that the United Nation, which is responsible for creation of the state of Israel in 1948 in Palestine territories, did not succeed in creating two states in the occupied Palestine territory since war broke out in 1967.
It is equally regrettable to note that Fatah and Hamas are not united in spite of Israel having gained power by the United States of America. Over and above Israel has succeeded by the United States of America to have fraternal relations with Bahrain, UAE in the Middle East. This is for the first time two Arab countries have developed relations with Israel with tacit approval of Saudi Arabia. It gives the impression that the Palestine state has been gradually being isolated. It is ironic that Fatah and Hamas of Palestine could not succeed to develop fraternal relations as yet. However, this is for the first time Palestine across the political divide takes part in such general strike as a result of eviction of Palestinian from the house of East Jerusalem while Israel attacked on Al-Aqsa Mosque. Demolition of Palestine homes and forced eviction in East Jerusalem by Israeli Security forces violates international law. Jerusalem is the city that is illegally occupied by Israel in collaboration with the immediate past President of the United States of America. Occupation of Jerusalem by Israel is in violation of the inalienable right of sovereignty of the people of Palestine.
The abiding position of the United Nation on Jerusalem is that the city remains a final status issue to be determined through a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to be negotiated between the two states as reported by the special coordinator for the Middle East on 8 December of 2017.
Jews in Israel should acknowledge the fact that Palestinians have in fact accepted Jews in their territory while the British were conqueror after First World War against Ottoman Empire. Without British Foreign Secretary Arther James Balfour and His Highness King George VI, Jews could not have aspire to have state today which belonged to Palestinian on the agreement that” nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious of the existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine or the rights and political status”. Jews people in Israel should not forget the massacres carried out in Europe by Nazi Germany and Soviet Union following the assassination of Czar Alexander. Approximately six million Jews were killed by Nazi Germany. The word Pogrom is used by Russia which began to take place around 1881 and followed till 1918 following Polish-Ukraine war and Pogrom was carried out by anti-communist White army in Kiev, Ukraine, Serbia and Mongolia.
Pogrom and massacres had been part of the life of Jews. Therefore, Jews in Israel should evolve a strategy to live together with Palestinian peacefully. Enough is enough.
