Power Development Board (PDB) beat Dhaka Green Club by 3-0 sets in the opening match of the National Bank Dhaka Metropolis Premier Division Volleyball League at the Volleyball Stadium on Saturday.
Earlier, Additional Managing Director of National Bank Limited Md Badiul Alam inaugurated the volleyball meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest. Vice-President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Tabiur Rahman, General Secretary of BVF Ashiqur Rahman Miku, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Md Sirajul Islam were present at the time.
A total of 10 teams are taking part in the volleyball competition. They are: Power Development Board, Titas Club, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, Water Development Board, Wari Club, Fire Service and Civil Defence, Azad Sporting Club, East End Club and Dhaka Green Club.
