PATA Bangladesh Chapter has received “PATA” Next Generation Engagement Award-2015 at a ceremony held at Bangalore, India recently.
Shahid Hamid FIH Chairman of PATA Bangladesh Chapter & Executive Director of Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort received the award from Kevin Murphy, Chairman of PATA.
This was in recognition of PATA Bangladesh Chapter’s various activities on engaging the next generation and young tourism leaders to be in the frontline in future. Specially encouraging and providing support in creating the Dhaka University Students Chapter last year and encouraging for Human capital development in tourism industry.
The ceremony was attended by about 500 tourism industry leaders from over 62 countries around the world who gathered at Karnataka, Bangalore, India to attend the PATA Board Meeting and Travel Mart.
This will encourage the PATA Bangladesh Chapter to continue their efforts towards the development of tourism industry in Bangladesh.
