Passing out parade of police constables held at Rajshahi

The passing out parade of the 159th batch of trainee recruit constables was held at the parade ground of Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) at Sarda in Rajshahi yesterday.
BPA Principal Nazibur Rahman attended the ceremony as chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest called upon the newly recruited police constable to devote themselves to eliminate crimes including militancy, terrorism and terror attacks ensuring peace and security of the people.
Vice Principal Lokeman Hakim, SP (Basic Training) Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan, Principal of Rajshahi Kadet College Habib Ullah and Charghat UNO Abdus Samad were present on the occasion.
Principal Nazibur Rahman said the recruits have to come forward with all their efforts to restore law and order in the country at any cost to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the public in general.
Principal Rahman said the police force will play supportive role towards successful implementation of the present government’s charter of change and vision-2021 as the success of a government largely depends on law and order situation of the country.
He called upon them to start with their profession with positive role against the anti-social activities side by side assisting the victims.
Earlier, the chief guest reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salute at the impressive march past.
He also distributed awards among the outstanding new entry police constables Mirajul Asrikin, Khalid Hassan, Jahid Hossain, Jahangir Alam and Abu Hassan.
Some 1527 constables including some females took part in the passing out parade on completion of their six months foundation training at the academy.
High-ranking police and other civil officials and members of the civil society witnessed the spectacular parade besides large number of guardians and others concerned.
