Passing out parade of female TRCs held

The passing out parade of the 20th batch of female Trainee Recruit Constables (TRCs) was held at Rangpur Police Training Centre (PTC) ground on Monday on successful completion of their six-month training courses.
Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bangladesh Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun inspected the march-past and took the salute of the 1,057 female TRCs s in the passing out parade as the chief guest.
Inspector (Armed) Minhaz Khondker as the Commandant and Sub-inspector (Armed) Zahedul Islam as the Assistant Commandant conducted the march-past participated by all female recruit constables divided in eight contingents. Additional Superintendent of Police of Rangpur PTC Razia Sultana conducted the oath-taking ceremony of the female trainee recruit constables. Commandant of Rangpur PTC and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bangladesh Police Kusum Dewan presided over the function attended by high-ranking officials, guests and relatives of the female TRCs. DIG for Rangpur Range Police Devdas Bhattacharya, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Abdul Alim Mahmud, Rangpur Sector Commander of Border Guard Bangladesh Colonel Abu Jahid Siddiqui, Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan and Superintendent of Police Biplob Kumar Sarkar, Commanding Officer of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 Reza Ahmmed Ferdous and high ranking police officials were present.
Later, the chief guest gave awards to constables Sharmin Akter Laboni (parade), Pakija Khatun (academic), Rukaiya Yasmin (musketry) and Ranu Akhter (all-rounder) for their best performances and securing the top positions during the training courses.
He urged the successful female TRCs for conducting professional duties by utilising their training skills with utmost sincerity in serving the nation and maintaining law and order to ensure the security of the people and earn their confidence and trust.
