5 held over JL leader murder

UNB, Rangamati :Police on Sunday arrested five people in connection with the murder of local Jubo League leader Arbinda Chakma in Jurachhari upazila.The arrestees are Lakkhi Lal Chakma, a member of Dumduma union parishad in Jurachhari, Uttam Kumar Chakma, Manos Chakma, Rabidhan Chakma and Hemanta Chakma.Addition police superintendent of Rangamati Shafiul Sarwar said the suspects were arrested during a police drive in the morning.On December 5, Arbinda was shot to death by unidentified miscreants at Mitingachhari Bazar of Jurachhari upazila.A...
