Poems: Paradise Found

Md Fakhrul Kabir :
Who ever does mind-
to see the hill tops blocking
the last rays of the setting sun?
Who ever does mind-
to listen to the murmuring
sounds of the foaming
sea waves and making fun?
Who ever does mind-
to hear the pattering sound
of the rain on the wooden thatched roof?
Who ever does mind-
to feel the cool sea breeze
every night wearing rain proof?
Who ever does mind-
to see the gushes of water
creating wave-crest with slivery foam?
Who ever does mind-
to free him from all tensions
and anxieties of home?
Who ever does mind-
to catch the echo of the breaking sound
of the distant waves- dying?
Who ever does mind-
to enjoy the sea-gulls hovering over the sea
being in a floating bungalow
and on a hammock, lying?
Who ever does mind-
to see the open sky at night
burdened with lighting stars,
touching the sea boundary ?
Who ever does mind-
to pervade the serenity of sight
and thinking the Greek legendry.
Who ever does mind –
to see the sun dipping into
the sea around?
This is the mermaid echo resort
at pechar dwip, Cox’s Bazar
where the paradise found.
