The fire that in the television godown of Hamim Electronics in the capital’s Bijaynagar area has been brought under control. Thirteen units of the fire service have brought the fire under control after two hours. According to the fire service control room, the fire came under control around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. Earlier, it received the information about the fire at 6:30 in the evening.
Officer-in-Charge (OC-Media) of Fire Service and Civil Defense Department Shahjahan Sikder said that 13 units worked at the scene and brought the fire under control at about 8:30 pm.
The first unit of fire service reached the spot within 10 minutes after receiving the information.
Later, five more units from Siddique Bazar Fire Station joined to extinguish the fire. A total of 13

units worked to control the further spread the fire.
At first, we found out that there is a hotel called ‘Khawar Adda’ in the building. There was a fire. However, it was later learned that the fire started not from the food hotel but in the showroom of a television called Hamim Electronics on the second floor of the building.
Initially, the fire service could not provide any information about the cause of the fire or the damage.
